Forums - Arab-Hungarian Economic Forum during 12-13 November 2012

Under the high patronage of H.E. Dr. Victor Orban, the Prime Minister of Hungary, the General Union of Arab Chambers and the Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency organized the Arab-Hungarian Economic Forum during 12-13 November 2012 in Budapest-Hungary.

This Forum which was organized for the first time, focused on creating an effective platform for strengthening Arab-Hungarian economic cooperation on both the public and the private levels. Basically, the Forum geared its activities to establish and promote business links and opportunities between Arab and Hungarian private sectors. Investment projects in both directions were on the agenda of this Forum, especially in the fields of banking and finance, renewable energies, SME's development, green industries, tourism, agriculture and food industry, life sciences and ICT sectors.
This Forum gathered Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Joint Arab-Foreign Chambers, Representatives of the Concerned Ministries in Arab Countries and Hungary, Arab and Hungarian Businessmen and Businesswomen, International economic and financial Organizations, Regional economic and financial Organizations, Unions, Federations, and Funds, and Corporates: banking, financial, trade, industrial, tourism, energy, and others.
